Description
This limited edition design is entitled the “Unlikely shepherdess” and has a vintage feel to it. It contains black and white photographic imagery of a lakeside scene in Muckross, Killarney(some of you might know!) near the old farmhouse. Christine came upon a donkey seemingly watching over sleeping sheep. It is complimented with a hand drawn/painted watercolor pattern in vivid blues and greens capturing the drama of the Irish countryside. Beautiful white roses add drama to the scene and pink camillas add a splash of colour to the design. At House of Kerry we like taking lesser known beautiful local scenery and conjuring up designs to capture the imagination. The design was printed on 100% luxurious soft silk in a state of the art facility near Lake Como in Italy, a region known for making designer silk scarves.
