From “These Country Lights” collection this stunning lampshade depicts the famous Ladies’ View which overlooks the lakes of Killarney. It is on the Ring of Kerry a short drive from the old farmhouse where Christine lives. It is an inspiring view! It was given its name by Queen Victoria and her ladies in waiting that visited there in 1861. Christine took this photograph on a cloudy windswept day and added a purple hue which is a great contrast for the silver tones of the lakes and grey clouds. The linen weave in this lampshade gives the print a vintage feel.
